In September 2009 LK Surgical Ltd. over went recertification audit of its quality management system. The auditors approved the compliance of the system with the new Quality standard  ISO 9001:2008.  Quality Certificate No. Q060212 was extended to 14. 03. 2012

HISTORY

LK Surgical Ltd. was founded in 1985 as a representative of the Austrian commercial company COMESA GmbH.

In 1997 after termination of COMESA activities in Bulgaria LK Surgical became a direct representative and importer for many high-guality medical manufacturers from Europe and the USA.

In September 2005 started the procedure of certifying LK Surgical Ltd. according to the international standard ISO 9001:2000. The company management developed and implemented a system for a quality control and a strict management by observing all of the standard’s requirements.

LK Surgical is the pioneer of laparoscopic surgery in Bulgaria - as the first company imported laparoscopic equipment and instruments. In 4 years LK Surgical organized seminars and practical courses in advanced laparoscopic techniques for surgeons from Bulgaria, Macedonia and Romania.

LK Surgical Ltd.has been awarded repeatedly with prestigious awards for its contribution for implementing up to date medical techniques in Bulgaria. More..
